I was flipping through some images of Jeremy Cowerts the other day and as I came across this one I just had to pause and reflect. It spoke to me so deeply that I was just stuck gazing. It made me think of the journey that we need to take to get to a place of hope. For me the tattered fence represented some shattered areas in my life that hinder me to run towards hope, but that fence is not completely closed. You can tell that the fence is half-way open and it's a matter of swinging through that gate to stand next to the vibrant wall of hope; it's hard to stand in that place. Hope in definition means to wait with confident expectation. It's easy to dream, but to hope is taking it to the next level of believing that it will actually come to fulfillment. I know that God has incredible things in store for US. I hope that this blesses you today.

You are right. It's hard to hope but it is possible. I posted a new blog today myself and it's about getting hope through understanding who God really is. It doesn't speak directly about it but it has that message. Anyway, thanks for the post. We need to hear things that give us hope. Love you, friend! :)

Truly blesses. Thank you. My eyes were filled with fresh water as I read "Its easy to dream but to hope is taking it to the next level of believing that it will actually come to fulfillment." So needed to hear that right now.

Also, I wanted to say you are an amazing painter. Please keep painting. I loved the birthday gift picture you painted for your friend. I saw it on Gretchens facebook. Amazing.

Well stated Laynebug. It is a big step but a worthwhile one no less.
